Everything started in the 1980s. As you know, most toys, movies and TV you see being rebooted in pop culture today originally came from the '80s. Toys were what captured the imaginations of kids in that time before home video game systems were ubiquitous, before the internet and back when people still had to "tune in" to be able to see the TV shows they loved. Saturday morning cartoons dictated what people played with. The 1980s were the golden age of toys.

He-Man, Cabbage Patch Kids, Teddy Ruxpin, G.I. Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (back when they were still teenaged and mutants), Transformers and more. These are the best toys of the '80s.
