    This is where it all came together for The Simpsons, and the episode is absolutely hilarious. Too many funny moments to mention all of them here but everything from Bart in the special needs class, to Homer asking for corporate hammocks, to the bum being turned into a mail box makes this the best episode of all time. Also, Albert Brooks as Hank Scorpio is probably the best cameo The Simpsons have ever had.

    This was the first episode of The Simpsons where they began to dive deep into character and portray the show much like a traditional sitcom. It worked to perfection, and the result was one of the best episodes of all time. Also, the Cheer's Song parody is probably the best the show has ever done. (All do respect to "Help Me Dr. Zaius")

    The most well written episode of the early seasons, paired with really funny parodies of The Godfather and Yellow Submarine. Also, Mr. Burns showing Homer his monkey's typing on the typewriters bit is one of the funniest Simpsons moments of all time.

    I like the list! All good episodes, but I would have included the episode in season 8 when Homer becomes a boxer, ("Homer they fall"?? i think?) and the episode where Homer tries sushi an has 24 hours to live. Maybe not the 2 funniest episodes (but still pretty damn hilarious) ever but I guess I have a soft spot for the more serious type Simpsons episodes. Also the on where homer gains weight to work at home, just for pure hilarity. Nelson: Haha your dad's fat! Lisa: Just because my dad is overweight doesnt mean hes some food crazed maniac! *Homer speeds by the school bus eating an ice cream cone*: Oh god, raspberry, thats good...

    I'm not a fan of this list. You Only Move Twice and Lemon of Troy are the only two episodes here I'd give credit too. Yes, I loved all the other episodes too, but not including Mountain of Madness and Homer the Smithers is just ridiculous.

    Good list, but some notable snubs: Homer and the pile of sugar; the softball episode; mojo the helper monkey; homer gains 60 lbs; lisa the genius. \n\nNo way you could make everyone happy but come on, you bent my wookie.

    I love the list completely right but I think the Beer Baron episode should have been somewhere. or atleast an honorable mention. Maybe there should be a top 50 post or something lol i think simpsons has that many GOOD episodes

    Fantastic list sir, I agree with all of these, although in my opinion you left out the funniest episode of all time, the one where Homer goes back to college and rooms with the nerds. Also the one where Homer finds the big pile of sugar.

    The Monorail episode is the funinest episode ever. Mayor Quimby says to Leonard Nemoy "May the force be with you" and Nemoy respoinds "do you even know who I am?" "I think I do, weren't you one of the little rascals?" It also has the monorail song and the family of possums living in the monorail. "I call the bog one bitey"
