The Top 10 Most Bullied Internet Celebrities

In March of 2011, Australian teenager Casey Haynes became an Internet celebrity for fighting back against the bullies who were attacking him - and all the world saw his bravery. Yes, Casey became a hero for sticking up for himself, after being abused for years. 40 seconds of video showing Casey essentially pile driving one of his attackers turned the 15-year-old into a poster child for anyone who has ever been picked on, pushed around and belittled.

The story gets better. And better. One of the most famous celebrities in the world wanted to meet him: Justin Bieber. The Biebs flew Casey and his family to his concert in Melbourne in May of 2011. Not only that, Bieber actually brought Casey ON STAGE with him!

You might not know bullied Internet star Kirsten Ostrenga by her given name, but you may know her as "Kiki Kannibal." According to 'Rolling Stone Magazine,' she's one of the most hated net stars to date. Kirsten's story is similar to many others on this list: She's a teen who got online, created a brash persona on MySpace, posted photos of herself in skimpy clothes and wearing a ton of makeup and put up YouTube videos (promoting her jewelry line).

And the haters crawled out. In droves. They spray painted her Coral Springs, Florida, house. They sent her death threats. Oh, and did I mention she was 13 at the time? Yeah. She's been bullied, stalked and threatened for five years now. Five YEARS. Last year, someone threatened her cat, Sebastian. He later disappeared.

Add Chris Crocker's name to this list of bullied Internet celebrities. Crocker, an openly gay young man from the Deep South, rose to cyber-fame in 2007 for tearfully defending Britney Spears in the YouTube video, "Leave Britney Alone!" He was upset after people criticized Spears' performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. That's how it started. Sadly, it wasn't how it ended.

Crocker quickly gained supporters - and haters. After a slew of high-profile TV appearances, Crocker's haters began taunting him. Crocker claimed he even got death threats! One little taste of fame and bam! You're a bullied Internet celeb.

In August of 2010, Tila Tequila was attacked at the annual Gathering of the Juggalos festival in Illinois. Viciously attacked. Tila was performing at the Gathering, when she was chased around by an angry mob of Juggalos. The crowd was nasty - Tila was hit by rocks and bottles (and a firecracker, which singed her hair!). Not surprisingly, she suffered facial injuries. Given the violent nature of the Juggalos, Tila was fortunate she wasn't severely injured. Or worse.
