The Weather

It rocks! In general it's sunny and warm all year round. When it's cold, it can surprise you and when it rains it's a wonderful welcome.

Pacific Ocean

Need I say more? It's amazing and inspiring. On a given day you can drive there and just sit and watch. You're sure to see some dolphins or even whales.

Runyon canyon

Runyon is the perfect mid-city escape. It's got great trails, a fabulous view and jaw dropping star sighting and people watching. There are many other great hikes in the city and vicinity but to me - this is numero uno.

People

LA people get a bad wrap. I love the atmosphere here, even if sometimes it can seem as we are edgy. Everyone knows someone or wants to know someone and yes, there can be quite a lot of one upping. That's the same in any city with huge industry. I think Angelinos are the perfect mix of chill, sophisticate and socilalite.

Vicinity

Whatever you want to do - it's within 2 hours drive. Beach, Desert, Mountains, ski, wine tasting, Mexico...

La Serenata De Girabaldi

This is my favorite restaurant in LA, or probably second now to Mozza. I love the original one in East LA. Amazing gourmet and fresh food. Love it so much, had them cater my wedding!

Santa Monica

This town has it all, beach, great trails, walking paths, the stairs, awesome farmer's markets, amazing food selections, wonderful liberal spirit and some good radio.

Katsu Ya on Ventura

Yum yum yum, the original is the best. Must haves: baked crab roll, shishito peppers, honey roll, robert roll, albacore with crispy onions, yellowtail with jalapeno, crispy rice with spicy tuna

Hollywood Boulevard

It's just too funny. Driving on the Blvd, seeing the characters, the tourists and all the action. Never stops entertaining.

The Architecture

Simply phenomenal.

Star Sightings

Never gets old, so fun to be out and about and just "sight" one of your fave celebs. Not so fun when they're being chased by paps.
