    2012
    #5 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2012

Cast: Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Marion Cotillard

The epic conclusion to the Dark Knight Trilogy was truly EPIC. This was better than the rest, no movie has ever kept me on the edge of my seat like this one. Tom Hardy was a great villain and added a whole new level to the character Bane and (spoiler alert! Do not read if you haven't seen the movie) for a while I truly though Batman died but that sneaky Bruce Wayne just wanted to start all over. But none the less the suspense and the great cast made this movie what it was. and I don't see any movie that could top this one.

    2012
    #6 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2012

Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L Jackson, Colbie Smulders, Tom Hiddleston

Before The DKR came out I though this would be the greatest but that was not true, but this is still one of the best and most epic superhero movies of all time. It was not as dark as the DKR but it was actually kind of funny. Downey Jr. did another great job as Stark and was just arrogant as ever and even become a team player and almost gave his life. The Hulk was great at first it was a little iffy about if he would mesh but he fit in right with the gang and he was funny smashing Loki in the ground. although it will be a while I cant wait for the sequel. The cast is great and made this movie great

    2008
    #1 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2008

Cast: Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhaal,

This was not expected to be this great but it sure exceed expectation. The late Heath Ledger was amazing he truly added a brand new layer to The already wild card Joker. But it was not all just Heath Ledger, The rest of the cast was fantastic and there never seemed like there was a dull moment. The way the Joker pinned citizens against each other and the many chaotic actions (He burned a giant pile of money for g*d sakes) made this a great classic and it desserved every award it won

    2004
    #8 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2004

Cast: Tobey Maguire, Kiersten Dunst, James Franco, Alfred Molina

This is a bit over shadowed with the later 3 on this list releases but this is a good movie. Doc OcK is a cool villain and it really tests Peters heroics, I mean he does kinda quit in the middle of it. But also the citizens finally stand by Spider Man in battle and help him in his subway battle with the Doc. Also a great scene is Harry finding out his best pal was the one who he claims responsible for his fathers death was a great scene and really showed their friendship after Harry did not kill Spider Man like he intended. this may not have been a star studded cast like some others but still a great movie.

    2003
    #9 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2003

Cast: Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Framke Janssen, James Marsden,Anna Paquin,Rebecca Romijn, Alan Cumming, Shawn Ashmore

This is another overshadowed superhero movie but still one of the best. Not only is this a star studded cast but it also was a major improvement from the original X men and had much more action and even cooler more interesting villains. Also we saw the unthinkable being Magneto and the X men working together and succeeding. Plus the nice cliffhanger of Phoenix was cool

    2010
    #11 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2010

Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke, Don Cheadle,Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell,Samuel L Jackson, Paul Bettany, Clark Gregg, Jon Favreau

The sequel to the 2008 hit did not disappoint. Tony Stark who is loving the fame of being both Iron Man and Tony Stark, but then Whiplash comes and screws everything up and threatens Tony who is trying to recover from some virus in him. Also Samuel L Jackson joins in and helps accompany Tony on his journey while accompanied by the beautiful Black Widow. Then War Machine comes into the game and almost kills Tony before the system is fixed and Rhodes is able to help fight whiplash with Iron Man. This was a great storyline and great acting and I cant wait for Iron Man 3.

    2002
    #13 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2002

Cast: Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Willem Dafoe

The original Spider Man was not as good as the sequel but it was still good. The Green Goblin was a great villain and the story was told pretty well. I also believe this was the re revolution of good superhero movies. This also jump starterd the careers of the three actors listed above.

    1989
    #7 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 1989

Cast: Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson,Kim Basinger, Pat Hingle, Michael Gough,Billy Dee Williams, Robert Wuhl

Back in 1989 Keaton was the greatest Batman actor and Jack Nicholson was a great Joker. Then Christian Bale and the Late Heath Ledger came a along and blew these performances out of the water, but none the less this was still a good movie and it did put an interesting twist on who killed Bruce Waynes parents and what the jokers name was before his accident.

    2008
    #2 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2008

Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges, Paul Bettany, Jon Favreau, Clark Gregg

This is a good movie but there is a lot more sentimental meaning to this movie than meets the eye. This was the start of the Avengers film being made. This was the first time Samuel L put on the eye patch and trench coat. This was the first time Marvel put a post credit scene in their movies. That is why this is such a great movie this was the start of a long line of great Marvel movies.

    2011
    #14 on the ultimate list
    Year released: 2011

Cast: Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Clark Gregg, Kat Dennings

This Movie exceed my expectation. I did not expect this movie to be good but man it was good. It didn't hurt that the amazingly beautiful Natalie Portman was in it. Loki was a good villain and the battle against the Destroyer was really cool
