Spike is my favorite character of all time. He's the perfect combination of funny, badass, passionate, pathetic, cynical, lovesick, good, evil, and everything in between. What's best about the character is that all of these aspects are meshed so perfectly together. You can spend hours trying to dissect Spike's personality, or just sit back and enjoy Spike being Spike.

A thousand year old demon with bunnyphobia stuck in the form of an 18 year old girl. How could that not be awesome? Anya's bluntness and constant failures at trying to act human made her the funniest character in the buffyverse. Her relationship with Xander was nothing short of adorable at times (When it wasn't laugh out loud hilarious).

Willow's transformation from shy nerd to powerful (and at times evil) witch was amazing to watch. But the fact that by the end of the series, she was just as cute and caring as when we first met her, makes you love her all the more. Seriously, is there a single Buffy fan who did not love Willow?

It's ironic that the character on Angel with the biggest heart was a demon. For over three years, Lorne always had a song in his heart. This made it all the more tragic when fighting the good fight eventually wore him down and he left at the end of the show, a broken demon. But even when things were starting to get rough, he put on a brave face and helped as best he could. Always putting others before himself.

For the longest time, I did not like Wesley. On Buffy he was beyond annoying. On Angel he lightened up a little, and was at times funny, but he still wasn't my favorite. And when he kidnapped Conner and started sleeping with Lilah, I started to dislike him again. It wasn't until the episode where he, and everyone else reverted to their seventeen year old selves, that I saw how truly amazing this character was. He went from pathetic and rule abiding to dark and tortured so slowly and believably. And of course, after that episode, he started carrying around shotguns and cool gadgets making him awesome.
