While undertaking this list I sure found out how hard it is to squeeze twenty five
hof pitchers in order of greatness. While enjoyable it was still an adventure in opinion! So I am ready to get blasted by the critic! Thanks, BT

Except for the relievers like your listI have Cy Young and Pete Alexender above Walter Johnson because Cy Young had to go through 20+ rule changes in his career and STILL excelled until his 40'sAlexander went from deadball to live ball and still was the best pitcher, while Walter Johnson, the Big Train went from amazing to just very good in that adjustmentI also think Greg Maddux is the best modern day guy at #5 as he didn't have the height of Johnson or the steroids of Clemens...he was a slightly above avergae pitcher who outthought hitters to become Great.

BTW, big detriments to Lefty Grove and Warren Spahn who iusually skipped starts against the great teams of their day and beat up on the second division

You couldn't have picked a finer pitcher to lead off this list! The man had an incredible arm, great control for a hard-thrower and longevity in an era when you very often finished what you started. The innings pile up pretty quickly when you don't have a middle reliever, a setup-man and a closer! Bravo for the greatest right hander of all time, and kudos to you for this list! Good job, good job.
