Top 30 Cars for Seniors
Seniors seem to love big sedans and in my opinion, think that's probably the best kind of car for them. Space for the grandchildren, safety in case of accidents, and a mature looking exterior (instead of boy-racer looking like a Nissan GTR) are some of a senior's top criteria when choosing a car and this list, in order, lists the cars that meet the criteria the best.

“ Reliable, very spacious, grown up looking, but pretty expensive. As of November 2012, the 2013 model starts at $71,990. Also not that great of gas mileage. „ - 2Up 9Down 2
“ Lexus ES's are known for their superb reliability and safety. They are also spacious and very luxurious. And, for a luxury car at least, they are very reasonalby priced. „ - 3Up 9Down 2
“ Very spacious, very luxurious, and great looking, but they are also very expensive and do have as good of reliability ratings as some of the other cars on this list. „ - 4Up 10Down 3
“ Very spacious, very reliable, very safe, very grown up looking, and reasonably priced. „ - 5Up 11Down 4
“ Reliable and safe. Reasoanbly priced as well. „ - 6Up 10Down 4
“ Spacious, reasonably reliable, grown up looking to some extent, and a great value. „ - 7Up 11Down 5
“ Spacious, reasonably luxurious, reasonably priced, and very grown up looking. What more could a senior want? „ - 8Up 8Down 3
“ I challenge you to run out of space to put stuff in this car because these cars have superb storage room. Cabin space for passengers is also as great for the front and rear passengers. Power is also excellent since the Town Car uses the mustang-derived 4.6 liter V-8. However, because of that, gas mileage is not as great. Quality is excellent and it is reasonably luxurious. However, Ford/Lincoln stopped producing the Town Car back in 2011 so you will have to find a used one. „ - 9Up 6Down 1
“ Cadillacs have always been known as old peoples cars. The new Cadillacs have departed from the famous land-yacht, big body style of yesteryear, but that doesn't mean they feel cramped inside and have little space. Not at all in fact. The new Cadillacs are still very spacious, they are easy to drive, they look grown up, and get decent gas mileage. „ - 10Up 9Down 4
“ If grandpa wants something with a bit more performance, he will love the new Dodge Charger. They are very powerful and are very aggressive looking, while having tons of passenger room and storage space. „ - 11Up 7Down 3
“ Very spacious, grown up looking, good quality for the price, and if you opt for the SHO trim, somewhat sporty as well. „ - 12Up 7Down 3
“ Very grown up looking, spacious, and luxurious. However, they are not very reliable and they are pretty expensive. „ - 13Up 4Down 1
“ Reasonably spacious, luxurious, grown up looking, and somewhat sporty. However, as with other German automakers like Audi, Mercedes, and Volkswagen, they are not the most reliable cars on the road. Also one of more expensive cars on the list. „ - 14Up 3Down 1
“ Reasonably luxurious for the price, which is pretty high, reliable, powerful, and spacious. „ - 15Up 3Down 1
“ Very luxurious, powerful, and a little bit sportier than its competitor the Audi A8, but it is not as luxurious. Reliability, like the A8, is not the best. „ - 16Up 2Down 0
“ Very luxurious, spacious, powerful, and good-looking. Not the most reliable, however. „ - 17Up 8Down 7
“ Spacious and very aggressive, yet mature looking. Also very good quality for the money. „ - 18Up 5Down 4
“ Reasonably spacious, luxurious, and very grown up looking. However, they do not get as good reliability ratings as some of the other cars on this list. Also one of the more expensive cars on the list. „ - 19Up 5Down 4
“ Very, very luxurious, powerful, and spacious, but very expensive and they are not the most reliable. „ - 20Up 2Down 1
Chevy Malibu
“ Very well known as a rental car, but that's not really a good thing. Rental cars are often cheap and generic, which exactly describes this car. „ - 21Up 2Down 1
“ Probably the cheapest car on the list, but that's the only reason to reccommend this car. „ - 22Up 1Down 0
“ Very spacious, great looking, and if you can find a GT model, very powerful as well (6.0 Liter Vortech V8 under the hood). The one problem: Pontiac doesn't exist anymore. „ - 23Up 1Down 0
“ The XTS is a brand new car for Cadillac. It's bigger than its CTS brother and because of that, it boasts more storage space and passenger room. It's also quite luxurious, but because of that it's more expensive than some of the other cars on this list, but it's not the most expensive. Also, since the XTS is a new model for Cadillac, there is no way of knowing how reliable they are, but the GM 3.6 liter V-6 under the hood has proven itself reasonably reliable throughout it's existence. „ - 24Up 1Down 0
“ 2 steps below the Equus in Hyundai's sedan lineup. They're pretty solid cars. My grandfather has one and loves it. „ - 25Up 1Down 0
“ Extremely reliable and very safe. They also get very good gas mileage and have a decent amount of storage space. „ - 26Up 1Down 2
“ This Equus is part of Hyundai's recent efforts to become a luxury car company. No i'm not making that up. It's actually very luxurious, very powerful from its 5.0 liter V8, very spacious, but very expensive, which for a Hyundai is not a good thing. No one really understands why Hyundai is starting to build cars like this. „ - 27Up 0Down 1
“ Luxurious, spacious, and reliable. However, it's a bit expensive. „ - 28Up 0Down 2
“ Slightly under powered, but reliable, spacious, and good-handling. „ - 29Up 0Down 2
“ Practical, good quality, but not the most reliable. „ - 30Up 0Down 3
“ Somewhat luxurious, very reliable, but not the best quality or space for the price. „
