Top 5 Hotels in Reykjavik, Iceland

Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura is one of Reykjavik's true originals. Recently remodeled, this hotel has lots of character and features all kinds of nice touches. One of my favorite things about Natura is the indoor geothermal pool and hot tub, which is free to all guests. No other hotel in Reykjavik has this.

The Hilton Reykjavik Nordica Hotel is already one of the most popular in Reykjavik. This 4 star hotel is centrally located and offers clean, modern rooms with all the amenities. The hotel features a nice bar & restaurant, spa with hot tubs indoors and out, dry sauna and a gym.

The Hotel Borg is certainly nice to look at... It's located right in downtown Reykjavik's central square, near the Althingi (Iceland's parliament). The downsides are the price (high) and the room size. Other then these items, this is a very fashionable place to stay.

The Grand Hotel Reykjavik is just a stone's throw from the Hilton. It has many of the same amenities, though it is one of the pricier hotels in the area. One of the things I like is that the rooms (at least the one's I've stayed in) have big whirlpool bathtubs.

The Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina is Reykjavik's newest hotel. Located in the old harbor district of Reykjavik, and literally steps from downtown, this hotel is truly unique, quirky and fun. This would be my first choice!
