Top 5 Liquid Father's Day Gifts
Let's get down to brass tacks here, generally Dads like booze. So, why not get him something this Father's Day he really wants. Here are some suggestions:
- 1
Lismore 21 year old single malt
I have tried this and it was the best single malt I've ever tasted. Price is about $200. Admittedly a pricey gift, but well worth it. A little tricky to find but worth the search. I have seen it at BevMo. - 2
The Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club
Guys like beer and this club has been delivering limited production, micro-brewed beers since 1994. Sure to please every month. You can order at www.beermonthclub.com. Membership from 2 months to indefinite. For the more refined pallette, try their Rare Beer Club. Prices start at 22.95/month plus shipping & handling. - 3
Casa Noble Extra Anejo
This is the all-time favorite of tequilagringo.com, a well-known tequila website. Price is about $80 which isn't bad as similar aged tequilas can be 3x that. - 4
Knob Creek Bourbon
9 years old. 100 proof of small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon goodness; I know this first hand too. Widely available (but still good) and not too pricey at around $50. - 5
Icelandic Vodka
Reyka vodka from Iceland is new. But it's very clean and very smooth. I have been to Iceland and have (also) sampled this vodka. Very good straight, mixes well too. Price is about $25. Skál ! (That's Icelandic for cheers)
