Top Energy Consuming Countries
What are the highest energy consuming countries? The most energy consuming country out there? As reported in 2007, Qatar ranked on top as the highest energy consumer in the world with 19,504 kt of oil equivalent per capita. Energy use refers to use of primary energy before transformation to other end-use fuels, which is equal to indigenous production plus imports and stock changes. This excludes the exports and fuels supplied to ships and aircraft engaged in international transport.
