Top Selling Hip Hop Albums of 2010

These artists produced astounding hits to carry them to the podium for the best selling hip hop albums of 2010 and helped the record stores stay afloat by producing top selling hip hop hits.

Though many artists gave good competition, one rapper stood above the rest for 2010 with the two albums in the top 11 of the best selling hip hop records of the year. Additionally, this top stud finished the year with the most digital downloads of any album in 2010 with his release of "Recovery" and was named the most popular hip hop or R&B artist of the year. If you've not figured it out already, that artist is none other than Eminem who made his "Recovery" and "Relapse" wildly successful during 2010.

Of course he was not the only hip hop artist popular during 2010 with the likes of the Black Eyed Peas and their album "The E.N.D.," Alicia Keys and her record "The Element of Freedom," Sade with her release of "Soldier of Love" and Drake with his record "Thank Me Later" all rounding out the top five best selling hip hop albums of 2010.
