Video Game Characters Who Set Off Your Gaydar

This is a ranking of video game characters, both male and female (and even non-human), who set off my/your gaydar. Openly gay characters (Jann from Valkyria Chronicles) or joke characters from Japanese games that play off stereotypes for laughs (Tingle, Birdo, Streets of Rage's Ash, etc.) are not eligible. Neither are characters that were confirmed to be gay after their game's release, such as Tony from EarthBound.
