Where Should We Go For My Fabulous Birthday Dinner? By mollie [89 more lists]
These are all places I either already love (Dominick's, Cheebo, 3rd Stop, Sushi Dan), or places I've been looking for an excuse to try. So, here's how we're going to do this. Simply add a comment at the bottom of the list telling me what your preference is. I don't need to know why, I just need to know which. I'll be making reservations by early next week, so let me know what you think by then.

Go with Taylors... or The Smokehouse... or, if you want sushi that will BLOW YOUR MIND, Katsu Ya on Ventura just east of Laurel Canyon. For Indian food, you can get a private room at Electric Lotus... the food is not boggling, but the ambiance is hella fun... plus, private room is the key. You can do the private room at Taylor's too.
