Her powerful, crisp, clear singing voice, with a vocal range equaled by few, puts her in the upper echelon of all-time female singers! As as entertainer she was unafraid to challenge, stun and awe. To say: here it is, with no excuses, as she did on I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. i can still remember the first time I heard the song; the focus it grabbed, the awe it inspired, the literal goosebumps and tingling of the spine that Whitney provided!
Whitney's success was equal to her great talent She was the first new artist to have three #1 singles on a debut album, the only artist to have seven consecutive #1 songs and also holds the record for the longest running #1 single by a female singer or from a soundtrack album! As a long time fan I knew we could lose her at any time, but it's still sad to realize we have. Her music was mostly positive and will be listened to forever!
