I'm not saying I'm going to stand outside your window with a boombox over my head playing "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel on a rainy night to get the job, but I do think you should take a chance on a fun and creative guy and see how awesome of a working relationship we can have.

My experience working in an indie video store allowed me to get a first hand glimpse of customer's tastes and their desires to rank them.

I have experience promoting movies, nonprofit theater groups, and local music shows using Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Linked In, and various blogs across the internet. I'm in tune with what is happening on the social networking landscape and know what sites provide the advantages to reach a broad spectrum of people.

John Cusack travels to sunny California for the girl of his dreams. I too just moved to Los Angeles, and I think Ranker could be the dream job I didn't know I was looking for. I have a positive attitude, a willingness to chip in anywhere I can, and a knowledge base that makes me a perfect fit for working with your company's product.

This is more about character, which I have plenty of, but specifically in the movie Jeremy Piven has John Cusack's back every step of the way. If hired, that's the kind of employee you'll be getting. I'll always have the teams back, regardless of the circumstance, and I'll always be willing to do what needs to be done.
