Now in his 70's, Al Pacino was insanely handsome when he was young. Pacino was born in Manhattan in 1940 and he began acting in various theaters as a teenager. He first applied for the Actor’s Studio in his late teen years, but was originally rejected. During this time period he was often homeless and unemployed. After four years of training at HB Studio, he re-applied for the Actor’s Studio, where he received further training. He credits the studio for the success of his long-standing career as an actor. Pacino showed off his softer side in the film “Scent of a Woman,” for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor. He has also been a successful presence on-stage as well, receiving multiple Tony Awards for his performances in “Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?” “The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel” and his directorial debut in “Looking for Richard.” He received his training at the Actor’s Studio in New York, and has been the recipient of multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards.
