My list of favorite movies are more of a testament to memories and stages of life than a display of cinematic achievements. The "best" movies are those that really attach to my feelings at a certain point in time--just get it, and nab it till it's compressed in me forever. So it's not easy to make it on this list. I've probably watched all of these movies at least 5 times, own them on DVD, and time and time again, think back upon specific scenes. I probably know the dialog and order of outfits too. I'm VERY selective of what I like, especially when it comes to film.

In light of Corey Haim's recent (apparent) drug overdose, here's a list of 16 drug-induced celebrity overdose deaths that, given the star's lifestyle and behavior, we should have seen coming. Celebrities overdose more often that we'd like them to, but this list should at least warn us of what we should've seen coming. Video news reports and family/friend stories included next to each celebrity when available.

In light of the Catholic church blaming homosexuals for the child rape they are committing, here are the 7 most inane, ridiculous and idiotic things that have been blamed on homosexuals. People in a position of power, including various world leaders and fundamentalist Christians, have been blaming the minority with the least amount of power in the state for a whole slew of insane problems that they were either responsible for or couldn't explain for a long time now. People don't seem to blame homosexuals for something unless they have an agenda to push, and that agenda is usually that of hate.

Since Jesse James cheated on Sandra Bullock, we realized there are a lot of celebrity cheaters who traded in their Porsches for used Ford Pintos. It could be true that some people will never know what they've got until it's gone, but in the case of these guys, knowledge doesn't seem to do any good. Tiger Woods is not included on this list because a few of the dozen women he cheated on his wife with were on par with her... C'mon, at least they didn't attack him with a golf club.

Top Chef Masters Season 2 is only days away, and we're already drooling over the list of contestants. Of course, we can only hope the challenges will be worthy of this year's crop of cooks. Just like we can only hope that stick-thin Kelly Choi might actually eat something this time around.
In the meantime, as we eagerly anticipate the first course of the second season of Top Chef Masters, we've cooked up our own list of the challenges we'd like to see this year's contestants take on. Of course, we know this isn't exactly how Top Chef Masters works. But hey, a foodie can dream, right?
