In 2009, commercials are one thing we all can agree to hate. They get in the way of the TV shows we we're watching, etc. etc., but 2009 TV commercials have reached a breaking point with me. But the weirdest TV commercials go one step further than general hate, and completely reduce our brains to liquid. We don't know if we hate them, we don't know if we GET them, but we do know that we're seeing the commercials when we close our eyes...and enter our nightmares. In 2009, we were given a lot of commercials that were entertaining for the sheer amount of ridiculousness and insanity they brought forth. This is a list of the top echelon of those horrible yet entertaining gems.

2009 was a big year for the Playstation Portable System, probably the biggest year to date—of course next year is looking to be even bigger! And though there are still a few PSP games that are due out next month, the plethora of quality releases are already sitting on store shelves. But one question remains, as to which games were the best. I have my own opinion, as I’m sure most everyone does. But instead of just basing this list off my tastes, I decided to do a more unbiased look at these games, by researching the scores given to these games, by review sites, and present them as the Top Rated PSP Games of 2009.

For those of us just tuning into the world of the intertubes, a "meme" is an on-running internet joke that can start anywhere: a news story, a picture, a video or even a celebrity's fashion choice. People put their own take on the ridiculous occurrence and the rest is history.
Examples of famous Memes include "epic FAIL", the Star Wars Kid and, of course, "LOLCATS". Whole businesses have been built around memes...aren't you glad you live in this world?
Here are 2009's Top 10...

Most of us know that Fox news is to news as MTV is to music. Since the 2003 court ruling giving the channel the right to lie on TV, they realized they didn’t have to be a credible news source as long as they are entertaining. And they do not disappoint (in being entertaining). The problem is what most of us find entertaining is the train wreck they call "reporters" and "news".

So, December is finally here, and most of the games for 2009 have been released, and so everyone begins to make their best of lists. Around here, I'm the gaming authority, so let's get to it. Obviously there have been some amazing games that have come out on the 360 this year, but which ones made the cut?

Every year Technological Innovation gets better and better. Ten years ago it was hard to imagine we'd have computers with no wires, cellphones with no buttons and robot/cyborg vacuum cleaners. But what happened this year that blew our minds? Well, I don't know about you but I had my mind blown quite a lot and I owe it all to a few truly innovative inventions. Here's a list of those amazing innovations.

Not many chefs cook vegan. But for those who do, cooking tends to work better with a well stocked kitchen. And when going vegan (especially if you didn’t cook that much) it’s hard to know what should be on the countertops and in the cabinets. So I’ve comprised a list—perhaps a shopping list – of the essential items that every vegan kitchen needs in order to painlessly bake up those vegan cupcakes, and cook the ultimate seitan.

Naruto funny moments seem to be few and far between. This Top 10 Naruto Moments list made me realize this. The mere mention of the word brings out two kinds of creatures: the high pitched shrieks of fan girls and the low drone of the anime elite. But no matter how you feel about the show, I think we can agree that it has had its share of epic moments. What are those moments you ask? Well the following list provides my own thoughts on the matter with video clips to prove my point. Of course if you disagree we can pretend it was all some Sharingan technique.

As the new Ace Attorney game from Edgeworth is coming closer to arriving on the store shelves, I’ve decided to play through the games once again. And as I revisit some of the old clients, and antagonists it makes me realize how many truly great characters there are in the series.
So I got to thinking about who really stood out from the pack in terms of supporting characters. Which personalities really stood out and who made me throw my DS in rage. So I’ve compiled a list of my favourite supporting characters of one of the greatest franchises on Nintendo’s DS.
So slip on that comfortable azure suit and revisit some memorable characters with me.

Going Vegan and living a life of healthy Veganism is a valid and intelligent lifestyle choice. Vegan people often meet others who say they think it's great, but it's not for them. The usual reasons have to do with the cheese and the love of eating animal flesh. However I believe that being vegan is for anyone with a heart, or an idea of empathy that extends beyond humans.
At the same time there are many vegans I know who feel that being vegan does nothing at all, and its not as important as activism. Though I am heavily involved with activism myself, I do not agree that being vegan in and of itself does nothing.
So for all the vegans out there to nod in agreement and some things to think about for non-vegans I have made a list of reasons of why its so important, both for health and for the lives of non-humans

Bad reasons for eating vegan often lead to "cheating" and very non vegan behavior. My vegan behavior is very staunch. I eat vegan. Period. An organization such as PETA is known for their love of animals...but where do they stop? We all have heard the yelling masses parading naked with fliers telling everyone why they should be kinder to non-humans. Usually for vegans this is a good thing, I mean sexy naked people agreeing with us -- how is this bad? Well, PETA can be very bad, and through the years have proved just how decidedly NOT VEGAN they are. PETA is a great organization with its heart in the right place, but they are NOT vegan friendly. Vegetarian is as far as they go.

There are a myriad of reasons why lots of manga are hard to grip by people who have an "anchor to reality", just like there are people who can’t grasp Philip Glass’s music, or an abstract painting. But for some reason people often scream and shout about Anime being completely mind-bleedingly incomprehensible, and to an Anime geek (or an "Otaku", if you fancy that term) it's almost strange wondering why people can’t understand
This list is targeted for a specific sort of anime/manga, and is not supposed to be a blanket statement for all manga. This is specifically for "Shonen" manga and anime.
If you get confused by Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball Z and other action anime you might find a few a reasons why that is—however, if you're looking for how to understand FLCL, Yakitake Japan, and Super Milk Chan… well I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until I describe why Japanese humour is so great.
If all of these words are basically Japanese to you, it's because they are.
