Skyscraper designed in 2006 by the Uruguayan born architect Rafael Viñoly. Although the previous building had been demolished and piling carried out for the new structure, full construction works only look like beginning on site during 2010. (Guardian May 20, 2010). Approval followed a long struggle with English Heritage. One notable green feature is the roof garden and park. The sky garden will apparently be open to the public on the weekends, making it the highest accessible park in London, and is one of the structure's contributions to sustainability.
