Aalap Raju

Aalaap Raju (born 6 June 1979) is an Indian playback singer and a bass guitar player from Chennai, India. Having worked with music directors like Harris Jayaraj, Ilaiyaraja, S. Thaman, Imman, Deepak Dev and Devan Ekambaram, his hits include "Engeyum Kaadhal" from Engeyum Kaadhal, "Enamo Aedho" from Ko, "Anjana Anjana" from Vanthaan Vendraan and "Endhan Kan Munney" from Nanban. Aalaap hails from a musical family. His father, J.M. Raju, is a singer/music composer while his mother, Latha Raju is a playback singer as was his late grandmother, Shantha P. Nair.
