Almerões

Almerões is a Brazilian Alternative rock band formed in 2006 in Mogi-Mirim, São Paulo. The band members are Guto on vocals, Rodrigo Lacreta and Cássio Clay on guitars, Renan Seksenian on drums and Drigão on bass. Since its formation, Almerões has had 2 changes in line-up, first in 2010 when the guitarist Lucas Mandioca left the band replaced by Cassio, second in 2011 when Bruno Caubi left the band and Drigão joined as bass player. The name Almerões, on the contrary to what many people think, does not refer to the vegetable with bitter taste.
