Andrés Rodrigo López

Andrés Rodrigo López FRSM (born 1963, New York City) is an Italian cellist and conductor. He started studying cello at a very young age under the guidance of Giuseppe Martorana. After specialising under the guidance of Amedeo Baldovino he studied chamber music under the guidance of Franco Mezzena and Bruno Mezzena and orchestra conducting with Michele Marvulli e Mario Gusella at the Accademia Musicale Pescarese. He graduated with full marks in Master classes in Conegliano Veneto and Enna (again with Franco Mezzena and Bruno Mezzena); in Fiesole (with Giuseppe Garbarino and Maureen Jones) and in Lerici (with Piero Farulli).
