Andrew Agnew

Andrew Agnew (b. Andrew William Agnew on 28 September 1976) is a British actor. He is best known for playing the role of PC Plum in the Bafta award-winning BBC children's programme Balamory. Agnew was brought up in Elderslie and now is based in Glasgow. His television career began in a BBC2 show called Fran's People where he was the character of the Muted Chef. He then got his big break, cast as the police officer, PC Plum in CBeebies' Balamory. With a cast including Julie Wilson Nimmo, Miles Jupp, Juliet Cadzow and Kim Tserkezie, as well as many other now familiar faces, the series developed a devoted audience of pre-school children as well as some older viewers.
