Andy Tsang Wai-hung

Andy Tsang Wai-hung, PDSM (Chinese: 曾偉雄, born 1958) is the current Commissioner of Police of Hong Kong. Tsang joined the Hong Kong Police Force in 1978 as a Probationary Inspector. From 1993 to 1995, he served at the Metropolitan Police Service in London as a Superintendent. In 1998, he was promoted to Chief Superintendent, then Assistant Commissioner in 2003. Two years later, to Senior Assistant Commissioner. By 2008, he was appointed Deputy Commissioner. In January 2011, the Hong Kong government announced that Tsang will succeed Tang King Shing as Commissioner of Police.
