Annie Camden

Annie Camden (portrayed by Catherine Hicks) is the mother in the Camden family in the WB/CW television show 7th Heaven. Annie Camden is presented as the perfect wife and mother, but has an interesting past. She has a history of drug use. In an episode during which Annie and her husband talk about drugs with Matt, it is revealed that she experimented in college. Her experimentation ended when her friend drove under the influence and was killed. During her college education, Annie studied everything from art to business and economics, and in later seasons returned to school to earn her Masters.
