Anttaj Hawthorne

Anttaj Hawthorne (born November 15, 1981 in Hamden, Connecticut) is an American football defensive lineman for the Arizona Rattlers of Arena Football 1. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin. Hawthorne attended Hamden High School in Hamden, Connecticut, his hometown. He played on the varsity football team all four years of his High School career and was a member of the 2000 New Haven Register All-State football team. He got a scholarship to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Anttaj participated in the first ever U.S. Army All-American Bowl game on December 30, 2000.
