Aorere College

Aorere College is a co-educational state secondary school (years 9-13) that was established in 1964 in Papatoetoe, Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand. Patrick Drumm is the principal of the college. As of 2010 there were approx 1,550 students enrolled. Due to the rapid increase in student population over the past couple of years the school has had to construct new buildings to accommodate all the students attending Aorere. The new "Colin Pascoe Gymnasium" was officially opened on Thursday 1st April 2010 by The Minister of Education Anne Tolley. In attendance were formal principals of the school and community leaders.
