Aotea College

Aotea College is a co-ed state secondary school in Porirua, Wellington New Zealand. Aotea College was founded in 1978. The school does not have a full time principal after Tim Davies-Collies' resignation in late June 2011. John Huston is the current acting principal while the board seek a replacement. The School Newsletter Te Karere is published once a fortnight to keep families informed on school happenings. Sport and cultural activities are a major part of Aotea College, students are encouraged to take at least one Winter sport and Summer sport.
