Appearances and Other Deceits

Appearances and Other Deceits is an episode from the first season of the science-fiction television series Crusade. This episode was directed by Stephen Furst, was a regular actor in Babylon 5''. Two EarthGov representatives arrive to improve the ship's image when an alien being spread through people by touch arrives on the ship. The 'new' crew uniforms are introduced. However, these 'new' uniforms are in fact old, the black uniforms seen in the previous episodes having been designed in real life after episode 105 to replace them. The character of Mr. Welles (John Vickery) was a member of President Clark's EarthGov and head of the Nightwatch Division. Hence his comment that "if anyone can cope with political change, it's me."
