Arsames

Arsames is a Persian melodic death metal band from Mashhad, the second largest City of Iran, originally formed in 2002 by Ali Madarshahi. Arsames had changed line-up many times, Vocalist and first drummer Ali Madarshahi is the only original member who has remained. The Origin name of the band, Arsames, came from the name of one of the kings of Persian empire during the Achaemenid dynasty. The band play heavy metal music despite it being illegal in Iran and, according to the band, considered satanic by the government. Arsames originally formed in winter of 2002. They record their debut single "Adiposere" in 2005 in their home studio which was in brutal death metal genre. In 2006 they released an unsigned studio album (Cyclopia)...
