Atlantis

Atlantis is a heavy metal band formed in 2003 by bass-player and songwriter Anders Thonander. In the middle of 2004 guitar player Olivier Laroche joined the group and in late 2005 the current line-up was completed when singer Stefan Kolev joined. The main music influences of Atlantis come from tradition/classic heavy metal of the British kind (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath) and the American kind (Queensrÿche, Fates Warning, King Diamond). However, most of the songs are very progressive in their song structure and odd time signature inspired by the likes of Dream Theater and Symphony X does occur.
