Avenue

Avenue were a boy band on the British TV show The X Factor, but were banned from participation for having been specifically formed for the competition and having professional representation. They continue to proclaim their innocence. After leaving The X Factor, they continued together as a musical act and had brief success with the single "Last Goodbye". After the split up, Max George went on to become a member of the successful boyband The Wanted. Jamie Tinkler was born in Linthorpe in 1981.
