Banshee

Banshee is a melodic power metal band that was formed in 1985 in the American Midwest. Although sharing image and sound with the glam/metal scene of the 80s, their music also diverged from the genre, sharing more in common with power metal featuring guitar solo prominence via lead work by guitarist Terry Dunn. Made up of members from the popular Mid-West touring act, LICK (Tommy Lee & Chuck Hopkins) and Terry Dunn of Kansas City based FRODO, and Kent Burnham from KC based CRYPT KEEPER.
