Bass Odyssey

Bass Odyssey is a Reggae sound system founded in 1989 by Keith Walford,, and have won a number of international sound clashes. The sound system was started in 1989 by Keith Walford in Alexandria, Saint Ann, who DJed at homes and parties. The re-emergence of the sound system in the Jamaican entertainment scene led Walford, with help from Bunny Hayles, to establish Bass Odyssey Sound System. Walford soon focused solely on management and left the position of selector. In 1994 Walford and Hayles split. Their top selector Squingy (real name Kevin Bennett) fell ill in 2007 and died in 2009.
