Bats

Bats is a 1999 horror film, directed by Louis Morneau and produced by Destination Films. The film stars Lou Diamond Phillips, Dina Meyer, Bob Gunton and Leon. People start to die in a small Texas town and the prime suspects are bats. A specialist in bats is called in and reveals that the bats have been engineered to become a deadly human-hunting cooperative. The bats' hive must be found and destroyed, before they can spread. A television sequel to this film, Bats: Human Harvest, was made by the Sci Fi Channel in 2007.
