Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy

The Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia was established in 2007 with a $100 million gift from Frank Batten, Sr. Harry Harding, previously the dean of the George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs, was selected as the school's founding dean in January 2009. The school currently offers a 5-year Bachelors/MPP program for undergraduates as well as a 2-year MPP program for graduate students.
