Bellevue

Bellevue is a residential neighborhood located in Southwest Washington, D.C, east of Bolling Air Force Base. It is bounded by Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue SW to the west and northwest, Joliet Street SW to the south, and First Street and South Capitol Street on the east. There are many garden apartments, one high-rise apartment building, and some 1940s era detached homes with yards. The Naval Research Laboratory is adjacent, as are the D.C. Fire Training Academy, a federal Job Corps center, the Blue Plains wastewater treatment plant, and Hadley Memorial Hospital.
