Ben Hansbrough

Ben Hansbrough (born December 23, 1987) is an American basketball player . He played guard for the University of Notre Dame. He was a fifth-year senior for the Fighting Irish, Hansbrough transferred from Mississippi State after his sophomore year. He signed his first professional contract with the German team FC Bayern Munich (basketball) to play in the Basketball Bundesliga. Ben, who is 6'3" and weighs 203 lbs, averaged 17.9 points per game, shooting 42.1% from three-point range in his final year at Notre Dame. He is also the younger brother of Tyler Hansbrough, the former Naismith College Player of the Year in 2007–08.
