The Benham Mound is a Native American mound in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Located in modern Amberley in Hamilton County, the mound is an archaeological site. A volume of Hamilton County history, published in the nineteenth century, described the Benham Mound as "a fine, large mound"; at that time, it was 8 feet (2.4 m) high, and its circumference was approximately 200 feet (61 m). Built on a line of tall hills above a valley, it is located in Section 30 of the original Columbia Township, near the Montgomery turnpike (now U.S. Route 22).
