Benny Young

Robert "Benny" Young (born August 14, 1949) is a Scottish film, television and stage actor. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Young trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. He has appeared in films including Chariots of Fire (1981), Out of Africa (1985) and Funny Man (1994). In 2009, Young toured with the National Theatre of Scotland in the recent production Be Near Me.
