Bert Halstead

Bert Halstead is the chief architect at Curl, Inc., where he has worked for several years on the design and implementation of the Curl content language. Curl is a computer programming language that aims to ease the implementation of applications that would otherwise use Java or employ an Ajax paradigm. After receiving his Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1979, Halstead became a member of the institution's computer science faculty, where he co-authored Computation Structures, a textbook that provides insight into computer architecture.
