Black Sabbath: The Collection is the projected follow-up to Black Sabbath's 1995 Forbidden album. Tony Iommi recently mentioned in an interview with Metal Hammer magazine in Germany that "Black Sabbath is alive & well. However, it has taken the backburner due to Heaven & Hell & Ozzy's Touring Commitments. I've spoken to Ozzy, Bill & Geezer about the proposal of a New album & they agreed. After this, I had been looking about in my house and found some Riff Tapes from past Sabbath albums. I had kept a tape of Riffs & Songs which weren't used for each album as they were released.
