Bob Burns

Bob Burns (born November 24, 1950) is an American drummer who was in the original line-up of the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd between 1964 and 1970. During a brief period of time, Rickey Medlocke sat in on drums, and Skynyrd would occasionally have two drummers, similar to The Allman Brothers Band. Burns returned from 1973 to 1974, at which time he left, due to being overwhelmed by life on the road, and was replaced by Artimus Pyle.
