Brit and Alex

Brit & Alex were an American-British girl group, consisting of identical twin sisters Brit and Alex Smith. Brit & Alex (born 1985 in Wilton, Connecticut) were originally known as child actors, appearing at the age of three in the soap opera One Life to Live. They later moved to London, and became known for their appearance as teenagers in advertisements for John Frieda's Sheer Blonde hair products. Having been regular singers since childhood, they have since moved into music full-time, leaving school aged 18 to pursue their musical career. and were later signed by Jimmy Iovine of Hometown/Interscope Records.
