Buin-Zahra County (Persian: شهرستان بوئینزهرا) is a county in Qazvin Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Buin Zahra. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 153,873, in 38,377 families. The county consists of six districts: Avaj District, Ramand District, Shal District, the Central District, Abgarm District, and Dashtabi District. The county has seven cities: Buin Zahra, Abgarm, Ardak, Avaj, Danesfahan, Sagezabad, and Shal. Jalal Al-e-Ahmad's monograph: "Tat people of Block-e-Zahra" provides detailed description of the region.
