Butterfly Temple

Butterfly Temple is a Russian pagan metal band that was formed in 1995. They are currently signed to the Metalism Records and are known as the leading band in their country's pagan metal scene. The pagan metal approach of Butterfly Temple features a mix of death metal, black metal and symphonic metal. Their style is known to feature "unusual melody lines" and "equally weird sounding vocal lines". Their debut album Veles featured "bizarre, unusual keyboard textures and Russian chanting on top of a slew of other odd noises and a varied array of female vocals."
