Caledon Hockley

Caledon "Cal" Nathan Hockley (1882 1929) is a fictional character, the villain of James Cameron's 1997 blockbuster Titanic. He was played by American actor Billy Zane. The son of American steel tycoon Nathan Hockley in 1912, Caledon Hockley is on the maiden voyage of the RMS ''Titanic'' from Southampton, England, to New York City in order to marry his 17-year-old fiancￃﾩe, Rose DeWitt Bukater. Rose does not want the marriage and only considers Hockley as a friend, but not a suitable husband. But Hockley either is oblivious to this or chooses to ignore it only for personal gain.
