Cammy White

Cammy (Japanese: キャミィ, Hepburn: Kyamī), alternatively Cammy White, is a video game character in the Street Fighter fighting game series. She first debuted in Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, which was released for the arcades in 1993, as one of the "New Challengers", the four new characters introduced in that title. She is the second female fighter to appear in the Street Fighter series, following Chun-Li. In an interview with Game On! magazine, Capcom's then-research and development head Noritaka Funamizu stated that her inclusion in Super Street Fighter II stemmed from his feeling that the game needed another female character besides Chun-Li.
