Candice Nelson

Candice J. Nelson is Associate Professor of Government, Academic Director of the Campaign Management Institute, and the former Chair of the Department of Government at American University in Washington, D.C.. Prior to coming to American University, she was a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution. She also served as a Special Assistant to former Senate Majority Whip Alan Cranston and as an American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow.
